Privacy policy

Windows app data

The Windows app is offline-first. It does not upload your imported statements, transaction data, receipt files, rules, notes, reports, or exported workbooks to Tax Tidy.

Subscription activation and status checks use license and account metadata only. They do not include your tax or bookkeeping records.

Website data we collect

We store your account email, plan and order records, license metadata, and invoice records needed to deliver your subscription.

Analytics and advertising measurement

We use Google analytics tools and the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel to understand website use and measure whether an ad leads to a conversion. The OpenAI pixel may store a first-party attribution cookie and record limited website events, including a completed account registration. Our registration event call does not manually include your account email, phone number, account or license IDs, payment card details, or tax and bookkeeping content.

The pixel can also use OpenAI automatic advanced matching. That feature may detect supported customer information such as an email address or phone number, hash it in your browser using SHA-256, and include the hash rather than the raw value with conversion events.

How we use data

We use your data to provision licenses, process billing events, send subscription/invoice emails, provide support, understand website use, and measure advertising results. We do not sell your information.

Payments

Payments are processed by Eway. Card details are handled through Eway payment flows over encrypted connections. We do not store full card numbers or CVV values.

Retention

Order records are retained for compliance and support purposes. You can request deletion where legally permissible.
